Built by dealers,
for dealers.

Two watch traders who got tired of doing serious business over WhatsApp.

ChronoTransfer was founded by Ezra Kadouch and David de Munnik — two watch dealers who ran the pre-owned watch business for the Netherlands' largest watch retailer before building the trade its own marketplace.

Where it started.

Long before ChronoTransfer, we spent years building and running the B2C pre-owned watch business for the Netherlands' largest watch retailer — sourcing, authenticating, and selling pre-owned watches to customers across the globe. That work taught us the trade from the inside: how dealers actually source stock, what makes a listing trustworthy, and how much time and trust gets lost in scattered WhatsApp groups and word-of-mouth networks.

We kept running into the same problems from the other side of the counter. Listings that were impossible to find back in WhatsApp groups. Endless scrolling through chats, hoping to spot the right watch before someone else did. No search engine, no filters, no structure — just an outdated way of working that every dealer had simply accepted. And above all: a way of trading that doesn't scale. You can't build a serious business on a system where your inventory disappears into a chat history.

So we set out to build something better. We started ChronoTransfer: a dedicated marketplace for professional dealers, built on the same principles that made our B2C business work — verification, structure, and trust — but this time, for the trade itself.

The team

Ezra Kadouch

Co-founder

Ezra has spent almost ten years in the luxury watch market. He co-founded a pre-owned watch business together with David and helped scale it to multi-million-euro revenue within three years. With a project management and commercial background, plus hands-on experience building IT products, he brings both the dealer's perspective and the builder's discipline to ChronoTransfer.

David de Munnik

Co-founder

David has spent almost ten years in the luxury watch market. He co-founded a pre-owned watch business together with Ezra and helped scale it to multi-million-euro revenue within three years. With a background in marketing and technology and deep expertise in digital platforms, he shapes how ChronoTransfer works, feels, and reaches the dealers it's built for.

Remmelt Pit

Senior Back-End Engineer

Remmelt has spent over two decades building software, from high-volume online marketplaces serving millions of users to fast-moving scale-ups and startups. As a hands-on engineer and technical leader, he has shipped and scaled products where reliability and speed are non-negotiable. Having built marketplace technology at some of Europe's largest trading platforms, he knows exactly what it takes to connect buyers and sellers at scale — experience he now brings to the pre-owned watch trade. At ChronoTransfer, he pairs that domain depth with the engineering discipline to make it a platform dealers can depend on.

Daniel Hakimi

Senior Front-End Developer

Daniel has spent more than ten years building software, the last seven focused on mobile. Working independently with startups and scale-ups across Europe and beyond, he has delivered apps for companies including iBOOD, Formitable (now Zenchef) and Simyo — products where a fast, intuitive interface decides whether people stay or leave. At ChronoTransfer he leads mobile development, building the app itself and turning design into the polished, responsive experience dealers rely on every day.

Building it right.

We believe a marketplace built on trust can't be rushed. That's why we're building ChronoTransfer properly — at the right pace, growing organically, dealer by dealer. A small group of professional dealers is already trading on the platform today, and every new member strengthens the network. No shortcuts, no growth at any cost — just a trustworthy platform that earns its place in the trade.
